The iPhone version of Call Control for BroadWorks is updated to v1.45 with support for basic Voice Messaging settings, so you can control which calls should go to Voicemail (All, Busy and/or Unanswered) and also change the e-mail address for voicemails (if not using “Unified Messaging”).

WP8 version of Call Control for BroadWorks released

The Windows Phone 8 version of Call Control for BroadWorks is now released and thus available at the Windows Phone Store.

The app works with accounts from

TDC A/S (DK)
QSC AG (DE)
Momentum Telecom, Inc (US)

(all selectable from the build-in service provider list)

If you represent a service provider and want to be included on the list, you can request a testversion by emailing kim@nomadiccircle.com with the windows live account id you have been using with the Windows Phone store (to allow for a free copy to be made available).

The Android version of Call Control for BroadWorks is updated to v1.07 with support for basic Voice Messaging settings, so you can control which calls should go to Voicemail (All, Busy and/or Unanswered) and also change the e-mail address for voicemails (if not using “Unified Messaging”).

Besides the Voice Messaging settings there are also a few cosmetic changes to the midcall “Call Status” page.

Windows Phone 8 version of Call Control for BroadWorks

The Windows Phone 8 version of Call Control for BroadWorks is just about ready and if you are interested in trying it out, we will be happy to arrange a free test version.

The WP8 version of Call Control uses XSI, so you will need to know the XSP address (XSI url) and also ensure that it is properly configured using a public CA signed certificate.

The test versions are distributed through the Windows Phone store, so if you are interested, please email kim@nomadiccircle.com with the windows live account id you have been using with the Windows Phone store…..

Consulted Transfer and 3-way calls now supported on iPhone version of Call Control for BroadWorks

The iPhone version of Call Control for BroadWorks is updated to v1.42 and besides improved midcall control (consulted transfer, 3-way call, hold/resume) it also
- fixes an issue with missing iPhone contacts
- includes support for BroadWorks R19
- have “pull to refresh” instead of dedicated refresh buttons (iOS6+ only)
- “transfer from contacts” (adding calls by selecting from contacts and call log)
- improved signin mechanism (reads assigned services much faster and reverts to settings display automatically when done)
- connectivity improvements (e.g. specific error messages and reconnect more aggressively if disconnected for some reason)

The Android version of Call Control for BroadWorks is updated to v1.06 with improved midcall support, so that Consulted Transfer and 3-way calls are now supported as well as Hold/Resume and adding/transferring calls via Contacts/Call Log.

Furthermore, the app now includes a list of known service providers, so that when configuring the app, you can select your service provider by name instead of entering the hostname/usessl selection.

- midcall display of active calls refreshed to include callee names, if known
- BroadWorks R19 support
- Fix to allow multiple Android apps to be signed in on same account simultaneous.

The iPhone version of Call Control for BroadWorks is updated to v1.41 and includes a list of service providers, so that when configuring the app, you can select your service provider by name instead of entering the hostname/usessl selection.

Besides that, the app have also been updated to utilize the iPhone5 screen.

The Android version of Call Control for BroadWorks is now updated to v1.05(2397) fixing a crash-causing error in Settings (seen when having multiple call centers) and with all available ciphers for SSL/TLS now enabled.
